As the Rental Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Rental Counter.  The operations requirements of this role include handling incoming rental inquiries and maximizing fleet utilization by managing available and incoming rental units.  Other job duties will include, but are not limited to:   

  • Completing and processing rental agreements and required rental paperwork.
  • Managing rental operations ensuring accurate billing and correct product availability for delivery.
  • Ensuring all rental problems listed by customers are addressed according to company policy.
  • Delivering units to customers or outside service vendors.
  • Administering and maintaining adequate, neat, clean, and safe rental area, equipment, yard, and units.
  • Developing and maintaining competent product knowledge of all current units leased / rented.
  • Maintaining a positive company/customer relationship.
  • Other duties as required.

Job Requirements


  • 1 years Customer Service experience with a history of exceeding customer’s expectations.
  • 1 year light/medium/heavy duty truck rental experience considered an asset.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License and clean Drivers Abstract.
  • Valid Class 3 Drivers License considered an asset.
  • Energetic and friendly with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines.
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and organize workload.
  • Knowledge and experience with MS Word and Excel.
  • Working knowledge of ADP accounting software considered an asset.
